Life presents complex challenges, and at times, these can overwhelm our usual ways of coping. For some, this may lead to persistent anxiety, low mood, difficulties in relationships, or a general sense of disconnection. As a psychologist, I aim to provide a grounded, compassionate space where these experiences can be explored with honesty and care.
My approach is rooted in a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship, characterized by respect, authenticity, and emotional attunement. I will work with you to develop greater awareness of how your body and mind respond to emotional stress, and to identify patterns—often long-standing and automatic—that may be limiting your capacity for connection, clarity, and change. As we bring these patterns into focus, new possibilities can emerge, creating space for meaningful, lasting growth.
While I tailor treatment to the individual, my primary orientation is Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a depth-oriented, experiential model designed to help people access and work through conflicted emotional states. I also draw from humanistic and person-centred traditions, grounded in the belief that each person has an inherent capacity for healing, resilience, and renewal.
I specialize in working with individuals facing complex trauma, PTSD, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and chronic or unexplained physical symptoms. My goal is to support clients in deepening their understanding of themselves, cultivating emotional courage, and building a more flexible, authentic way of being in the world.
